This compact site consist of 3 townhouses located on a corner block in the leafy suburb of Nedlands. Each home comprises of an open planned living, kitchen & dining space on the ground floor that opens directly to a generous rear courtyard, with access to northern sun which acts as an extension of the internal living area featuring timber decking and built-in outdoor joinery. The upper floor has three generous bedrooms and a flexible study space. 

The design utilises a contemporary approach with its architecture through adopting clean, geometric lines, whilst still being sympathetic to the surrounding built form through its scale and materiality. Through referencing a familiar material palette within the surrounding environment, the townhouses use a mixture of simple raw materials and fenestrations to compliment the old and new architectural style of its neighbourhood. The façades incorporate elegant yet functional architectural features such as deep window reveals for privacy, vertical sun-shading battens and robust, locally sourced materials.
