Situated within the Marriott Hotel at Docklands in Melbourne, Victoria, Archer’s presents modern Australian cuisine at its best.
The focal point of the design is the statement arched rough-rendered brick ceiling that sweeps overhead and envelopes diners. While the interior is contemporary, the aesthetic has been drawn from the 1960s New York hotel and restaurant scene and the minimal palette, along with the singular vaulted ceiling, is a reflection of this era.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land upon which Archer’s Restaurant stands. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.

A central table provides a service area for the restaurant and banquette seating, tables and chairs have been positioned around the perimeter. Circular rubbed brass pendant lights with glass orbs float from the ceiling on either side of the space and curtaining on floor-to-ceiling windows softens the outside light.

Featuring a statement arched ceiling, the design for Archer’s flows seamlessly with the curvature of the newly opened Marriott Docklands.

“For Archer’s, our team drew inspiration from the New York hotel/restaurant scene, circa 1960’s, when business-types dined alongside socialites. The boutique setting, emphasised by its vault-like design aesthetic, demands a destination concept, where hotel guests stay in to eat and Melbournian’s travel to experience.”
