The Role
We are looking for Architectural Graduates to join our dynamic Sydney team. In this role, you will design and develop various residential projects, guiding them from concept to completion. Experience in the multi-residential sector is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of projects.
- Assist in producing documentation and presentation materials for clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Coordinate with members of the consultant team.
- Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines.
- Apply relevant regulatory and authority controls when required.
- Report progress to the project leader as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience in multi-residential projects.
- Master’s degree in architecture or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of post-graduate professional experience.
- Strong design, graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust technical abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Effective communication of design intent to internal and external parties.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve design issues swiftly and accurately.
- Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
- Familiarity with the NSW planning framework.
- Experience with Connecting with Country engagement and co-design is an advantage.

The Role
With a number of exciting projects on the horizon, we are searching for a registered Architect to complement and enhance our high performing Perth Studio. You will be responsible for bringing architectural concepts to life whilst considering aesthetics and functionality.
Duties include:
- Develop concept designs by both hand and CAD application
- Interpret and apply regulatory and statutory framework to work
- With the team, determine client requirements for building projects
- Under guidance, develop and present client proposals and project updates
- Perform site visits to ensure work is done according to architectural plans
- Work with the team to undertake feasibility studies, identifying site constraints and opportunities
- Contribute to construction documentation packages
Skills & Experience:
- Registration via relevant state/territory Architect Registration Board
- Bachelors’ degree in Architecture
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an architectural studio environment
- Proficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD)
- Solid knowledge of relevant Australian building codes and standards
- Advanced drafting and graphic presentation skills
- Solid communication, whether written, visual, or verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Solid organisation, time management and coordination
