ABOUT THE ROLE

Located in our Surry Hills studio, we are seeking a Project Architect. You will be a confident communicator with strong leadership skills and the ability to balance multiple projects. You will have expert code and compliance knowledge with proven Apartment Design Guide and SEPP65 experience, a keen eye for design and detail, and the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and their needs. DKO is a design-focused studio.

Working across residential and mixed-use projects, the specific roles and activities are (but not limited to) the following:

  • To work on the delivery and documentation of multi-residential and mixed-use projects
  • To coordinate and prepare documentation packages for Tender and Construction
  • Seeing projects through all phases of delivery, including site observation
  • Working within a professional team environment and managing small project teams
  • To liaise with and co-ordinate the various requirements and activities of Clients, Consultants and local Councils
  • To relate designs to relevant codes and statutory
  • Proactive site contact with contractors and consultants
  • To carry out work associated with preparing Architectural Planning application submissions
