ABOUT THE ROLE

Located in our Ho Chi Minh studio, we are seeking a skilled BIM Manager to provide our global teams with ARCHICAD assistance.  You will be a confident communicator (in both Vietnamese and English), have proven ARCHICAD experience (5 years minimum), a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You will oversee and implement DKO documentation standards and be charged with ensuring our high-quality assurance is met.

Working across multiple studios and projects, the specific roles and activities are (but not limited to) the following:

Projects:

  • ARCHICAD support to local office staff members and some helpdesk support to wider DKO user group (focus on local HCMC office and covering WA time zone critical incidents outside of AEST working hours)
  • Project audits, maintenance & rebuilding
  • Alignment of local CAD practices with that of the wider DKO group
  • Facilitate communications between BIM team and project leaders across global offices
  • Enforcement of DKO documentation standards
  • Quality Assurance

Training:

  • Inductions of new staff
  • Training staff on ArchiCAD and DKO systems

Facilities Management:

  • On-site IT support

Administration:

  • Create reports to assist Global BIM Management
  • Participate in Global BIM Meetings
  • Local BIM server management – sharing/ access rights / archiving / etc
REQUIREMENTS
  • ARCHICAD proficient, 5+ years experience using ARCHICAD in a commercial environment
  • Excellent communication skills, in both Vietnamese and English (written & verbal)
  • Good IT problem-solving abilities
  • Agility (role requires the ability to work on a wide range of projects, issues, situations)
  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Architecture
  • JIRA, Twinmotion, Adobe CC Suites, Grasshopper, Rhino and coding experience preferred but not essential

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a creative studio in a key support role.

  • You will work closely with our studio operations team and be an influential contributor to the efficiency of the studio.
  • Reception, assisting client engagement, in–house hospitality and studio administration will provide diversity within your role at DKO.

This is a full-time and permanent role which is integral to our studio.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and liaising with people at all levels across the Sydney studio and across the wider practice. You are the go-to person for various aspects of the daily studio operations.

  • Management of all incoming calls and associated messages including direction of all enquiries to appropriate team members

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designers to manage a range of small to large sized projects of basic to complex scope with minimal supervision. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced Project Architects to manage a number of projects.

Whilst you will have expert code and compliance knowledge, you will also have a keen eye for design and detail to challenge to the project and the team you will work with. DKO is a design focused studio.

You will be working alongside our skilled team members, Associates and Directors to innovate and deliver quality projects.

Working across exciting master planning, residential and mixed-use projects, the specific roles and activities are (but not limited to) the following:

  • To carry out sketch design work;
  • To carry out work associated with preparing Architectural Planning application submissions;
  • To undertake Urban Design and Masterplanning tasks
  • Consultative approach to manage, liaise with and co-ordinate the various requirements and activities of Clients, Consultants and local Councils;
  • To carry out Site Analysis and Site Context Analysis;
  • To relate designs to relevant codes and local council requirements
  • Management of construction documentation packages
  • Proactive site contact
  • An ability to manage a team and inspire design and excellence across all projects
  • Have a keen interest in leading and mentoring our emerging graduates

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking Mid-Level Architect experienced in documenting and delivering residential projects.  You will be a confident communicator with strong leadership skills and the ability to balance multiple projects. You will have expert code and compliance knowledge, ideally with 5-7 years’ experience (5+ local experience), a keen eye for design and detail, and the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and their needs. DKO is a design-focused studio.

Working across masterplanning, multi-residential, mixed use and student accommodation projects, the specific roles and activities are (but not limited to) the following:

  • To carry out sketch design work;
  • Document large residential projects, manage documentation and meet deadlines;
  • Consultant coordination;
  • Apply excellent technical knowledge of architectural project delivery;
  • Excellent knowledge of building materials and construction methods
  • Knowledge of structural, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering as related to buildings;
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, laws, rules and standards regulating the design and construction of buildings;
  • Produce architectural drawings for documentation stage
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5-7 years’ experience (5+ local experience)
  • ArchiCAD preferred
  • Microsoft 365
  • Solid knowledge of Local Planning Codes
  • A keen eye for detail and practicality
  • Quality hand sketching and detailing
