Taking inspiration from the Burleigh Headlands, the protective dense vegetation of the rainforest at the water’s edge and the filtered views is reflected in the building’s plan and façade design.

Protective screening is provided to the western facade and more private spaces within the apartment, the building opens up for clear views in the more public spaces; like the transition between the forest and the ocean.

The curving trunks, the textured bark layers, basalt and muted colour palette provide much inspiration for the building form and material palette.
