As a valuable member of the DKO team, Abbey van Rooyen is a well-rounded practitioner with excellent design and communication skills, a good technical understanding of the building process and substantial contract administration experience.

Having worked in Australia, London and New Zealand, Abbey’s project experience ranges from high-end residential, multi-residential, educational, commercial and cultural demonstrating her ability to navigate different programs/briefs whilst fostering a strong client-architect relationship.

Abbey is adept at running the day-to-day operations of the project, maintaining the design programme, quality and deliverables for the consultant team.

Abbey delights in the composition of materials and detailing to create well-crafted buildings that stand the test of time.
