In the heart of Enfield, The Henly Residences are a boutique collection of 70 residences that respond directly to their context. DKO’s design is sensitive to the low scale nature of the neighbourhood while fully embracing its parkside location.
We acknowledge the Wangal people of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of the land upon which The Henley Residences stand. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
Retaining a quiet charm that attracts families and those looking for a more relaxed, unhurried lifestyle, the development features 22 floorplan options giving future residents choice. The majority of the townhomes have dedicated car spaces that feel like a personal garage. Residents are provided with all the amenity and luxury of a detached single-occupancy home as well as the convenience and efficiency of an apartment. This typology of three-to-four-storey terraces are relatively new to the Sydney market. The market’s needs are constantly evolving and by combining these needs with the commercial realities of net sellable area, DKO has created highly efficient dwelling typologies. As architects, DKO is passionate about exploring different typologies that showcase more efficient means of living.
The architectural form and material language takes cues from the strong vernacular of the suburban homes in the area, responding with a tactile palette of brick and metal panelling in contemporary tones.
Townhome interiors were designed with owner-occupiers in mind – hence the large living spaces, durable materials and significant storage opportunities that appeal to all family types. Each terrace home features grand spaces that boast large picture windows that fill the spaces with natural light alongside private terraces and rear gardens that highlights the serene location. Featuring quality appliances – including Smeg cookware and Brodware or Phoenix fixtures and accessories – the kitchen is both practical and functional, stylish and sleek. The materials palette is opulent without being over-elaborate – grand yet homely.
