DKO was tasked with critiquing and improving the existing masterplan at early stage. The northern part of the site was primarily determined with more flexibility to alter and improve the southern portion of the site.
We acknowledge the Awabakal people, the traditional custodians of the land upon which Archer’s Run stands. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
DKO continued and extended the main artillery road and green spine into the heart of the community. This move allows more homes to have greater outlook and amenity as well as stronger visual connection to the clubhouse.
To reduce the extent of cut/fill on site, DKO designed the superlots to follow the contours more closely.
The introduction of additional green pedestrian linkages (including golf buggies), again, adds to green landscaped zone within the community.
DKO maximised the number of homes with connectivity to the waterfront creating a relaxed lifestyle atmosphere. Community facilities are dispersed throughout the site, thus increasing the value of housing surrounding these amenities.
