In the heart of Sydney’s North-West, a new premium residential development is taking shape. Located just south of Castel Hill Showground, Chateau is something Castle Hill hasn’t seen before – a unique mix of premium residential living, community and amenity.
Comprising of four towers designed by PTW, the 281 dwellings are made up of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and townhomes. In response to the local demographic and family types, a mix of multi-unit apartments is also provided.
The development seeks to improve the urban connectivity to the area by providing a new through-site link and will be stepped in built form to be sympathetic to the scale of the neighbourhood. A lush oasis of planting will be provided by a Zen-garden that weaves its way through the development. Rooftop amenities such as a new gym, outdoor cinema, barbeque facilities, infinity pool and private lounges all combine to offer a resort-style lifestyle for the residents.
The interior design of Chateau was undertaken by DKO and captures the spirit of Castle Hill. “As the name Chateau implies, our interior design concept was to evoke a sense of grandness and elegance with a modern interpretation of the French-Provincial style,” explains Laura Saunders, DKO Interiors Lead, Sydney. “We have carefully selected every finish, every tap, every appliance, to make sure they’re of the highest quality and that they will stand the test of time.”
Chateau has been crafted with careful consideration of the finest details. DKO wanted the interiors to feel crafted and highly detailed, with warm timber floorboards, modern shaker panelled joinery, rich timber laminates, lashings of brass tapware and accessories, and floor to ceiling marble-look tiles. The result is a highly considered and sophisticated aesthetic, appealing to a buyer who values attention to detail and craftsmanship.
