Value $120 million

Role Masterplanning and Full Architectural Service

Status Planning permit received, Marina Tower in pre-sales

Project Description +
x

The NewQuay Central Masterplan in Melbourne’s Docklands seeks to transform the existing Waterfront City Precinct into a true waterfront and community destination.

The project brief called for a creative, yet efficient utilisation of the existing infill site to include four multi storey residential towers, a four to five star hotel and a central park.

DKO has designed a rich and articulate masterplan that breathes life to the existing precinct whilst providing strategic connections to Melbourne’s Docklands and afar.

As of 2014, the NewQuay Central masterplan has received planning permission and DKO is currently documenting Docklands’ largest tower on the site, Marina Tower. The Marina Tower complex consists of 461 apartments over 44 storeys and a four-star hotel operated by the Sheraton Group.
