DKO Architecture's design response for Andrew Street embodies the modern residential spirit of Windsor, whilst encouraging you to determine how you live and play within one of Melbourne’s most exciting and growing inner-suburbs.
Milieu's design philosophy is founded on the understanding that carefully chosen and elegantly executed details make for casually remarkable spaces that are more than the sum of their parts. As such, the materials and finishes featured at George and Andrew are selected on grounds of practicality of application, aesthetic appeal, and longevity of use. Thoughtful flourishes are perfectly paired with sensible elements of sustainable design, in the form of solar hot water units and domestic rain harvesting equipment.
Interaction is encouraged with an architecturally designed Kitchen bench acting as both an island and dining table. Light enough to pick up and move around, and with a marble block that can be used as a preparation block, moved along as a platter or stored away for extra plate space during nights of entertaining, the space is yours to mould to your own lifestyle.
