This project provided the opportunity to design a contemporary, family home for 3 generations with a love of entertaining.
A central communal entertaining space is flanked by two independent living wings, one for the family, and one for their grandmother, each of which responds to both the site topography and the individual wants and needs of its inhabitants.
Designed to provide a place for every kind of family interaction from exuberant get-togethers by the pool, to individual study nooks for quiet contemplation, the A-G House sets a new benchmark for contemporary, Australian, family homes.
