In the leafy surrounds of established Parkville, DKO has created an exclusive series of luxury homes that update the terrace concept for modern living. On a site with double frontage across Royal Parade and The Avenue, and with a third boundary overlooking the Capital City Trail, the luxury homes each span across five levels including a rooftop and are located on their own title.Designed as a collection, the homes employ natural materiality designed to last. With a light palette of stone and textured off-white exterior walls, each uses the warmth of bronze and timber detailing offset with dark architectural elements to achieve a classic but modern façade.Every home has a large living area on the ground floor, as well as a second living space on a separate level. The larger homes have multiple studies split between levels. This enables a resident to engage in an activity without interrupting another. With a green open space to escape to, homes are experienced as private retreats, ideal for relaxation and entertaining. Sight-lines from the living area enforce a continuation of the space to an outdoor urban oasis, where an ornamental pergola entwined with overhead greenery creates a natural leafy ceiling for both day and night. A selection of the homes feature an infinity edge pool that forms an ornamental water feature, along with a built-in stone day bed, lounge area and BBQ facilities.
