Project Description +
x

Newton Apartments sit on what is formerly the RAAF airfield. The unique design pays tribute to the site’s rich aviation history, inspired by the shapes and shadows of aircraft. Balconies and façades were designed to create a play of light and angles as you travel on Overton Road, graded paths are reminiscent of a plane touching down. The apartments were designed to offer generous space, more typical of suburban townhouses than inner city developments. All bedrooms have been given full frontage to the outside, offering lots of natural light with built-in robes and air conditioning standard to each.Internal and external finishes marry comfort, quality and style. Timber cladding, excellent access to natural light, gas hot water and stoves, and low consumption LED lighting underpin the environmentally sensible design of Newton Apartments.
